This award echoes who Satrix is at the core – a means for the people of South Africa to OWN THE MARKET, with ease and at low cost. We’d like to thank our investors, our stakeholders and the SA ETF industry for taking this twenty year journey with us. I couldn’t be more proud!”

Satrix is celebrating its 20th anniversary year as they listed the very first ETF on the JSE in November 2000. The Satrix 40 ETF has been a flagship Satrix fund ever since, offering investors local equity exposure at a low cost.

Refinitiv, Profile Data, JSE and are the four independent service providers to the South African Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) industry who have coordinated these annual awards to recognize ETF issuers in various categories.

Nerina Visser, ETF strategist and director at comments “Satrix has proven without a doubt that it is The People’s Choice. It has a twenty year history of empowering ordinary investors to participate in the wealth creation process of “Owning the Market’. Testimonies of how investments in the Satrix 40 ETF have allowed people to build up deposits for a car, a house, or to send kids to school and university, are plentiful. As one proudly South African investor stated – it keeps growing like a marula tree!”
