Satrix Wins at SALTA 2022

Satrix is thrilled to have received nine awards, including the People's Choice Award for the favourite South African ETF at the fifth annual South African Tracker Funds Awards (SALTA) event hosted at Glenhove Conference Centre in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 30 March 2022.

These accolades are just two weeks after Satrix was named Morningstar 2022 Best Fund House in the larger fund range.

SALTA covers four main categories:

• Trading Efficiency
• Tracking Efficiency
• Capital Raising

SATRIX 40 – SOUTH AFRICA’S FAVOURITE ETF, 5 YEARS RUNNING!

The coveted “People’s Choice” award is decided by the public via an online poll. The Satrix 40 ETF has been voted the favourite ETF for South African investors for the fifth consecutive year! Satrix listed the very first ETF on the JSE in November 2000. The Satrix 40 ETF has been a flagship Satrix fund ever since, offering investors local equity exposure at the lowest cost in the market.

Satrix inflows come from a wide range of investors, across retail and institutional clients, who we would like to thank for the vote of confidence in Satrix.

The South African Listed Tracker Awards (SALTA) is running for the 5^th year in 2022. SALTA is an initiative by service providers to the exchange traded fund (ETF) industry in South Africa (who are not issuers themselves), to reward issuers for exceptional products provided to the South African market. The JSE, Refinitiv (an LSEG business), Profile Data and etfSA are the sponsors and organisers of these awards. They recognise the best total investment returns over the last one to five years in various categories, and look to reward skills in providing index tracking ETFs for the investment industry.
