Satrix Wins 9 Awards at SALTA 2023 

Satrix is delighted to have received 9 awards, including the People's Choice award for the favourite South African ETF at the 6^th annual South African Tracker Funds Awards (SALTA) event hosted at the JSE, Johannesburg on Thursday, 30 March 2023.

Satrix Top 40 – South Africa’s Favourite ETF, 6 Years Running!  

The coveted “People’s Choice” award is decided by the public via an online poll. The Satrix Top 40 ETF has been voted the favourite ETF for South African investors for the 6^th consecutive year! Satrix listed the Satrix Top 40 ETF on the JSE in November 2000 and it has been a flagship Satrix fund ever since, offering investors local equity exposure at the lowest cost in the market.

The South African Listed Tracker Awards (SALTA) are now in their 6^th year. SALTA is an initiative by service providers to the burgeoning ETP industry in South Africa, who are not issuers of ETPs themselves, to reward such issuers for exceptional exchange traded products provided to the South African markets. The JSE Limited, Refinitiv (an LSEG business), Profile Data and etfSA.co.za are the sponsors and organisers of these Awards. They recognise the best total investment returns over the last one to five years in various categories, and look to reward skills in providing index tracking ETFs for the investment industry.
